in circles

Meet me there
in that place
that does not exist
in time or space

meet me there
where desire is untamed
and what we feel
need not be named

meet me there
where we need no reason nor rhyme
and never need acquiesce
to the oppression of time

meet me there
in that place that is only ours
where we don’t have to share
our sky or our stars

dream with me
until our bodies turn to dust
yes dream with me
and dream only of us

how to use:

as common as carbon is a poetic stream of consciousness.
there are 3 categories of “poems”:

(i) heteroglossic synesthesia (complete poems)
(ii) hobonyms (words with no homes)
(iii) mind jerky (thoughts to chew on)

after reading a poem you have 3 options to “turn the page”

“RANDOM” – takes you to a random poetic expression
#hastags – take you to another random poem with the same theme or motif
#category – takes you to a random poem in the same category

“no one can step in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and they are not the same person” – possibly Heraclitus

just as no one can step in the same river twice, no one can have the same experience of “as common as carbon” twice
